Wow! This is so sharp to have been taken at night. Were you hand-holding it? - When I see this photo I realize how sheltered of a life I have lived. I cannot believe that a crosswalk for pedestrians is this wide! Ours are at most 5 to 10 feet wide, and I thought that was pretty generous!
Lol, it's raining here too, and monster traffic jams due to strikes in public transport and the rain... I really like the feel of this photo though it makes me want to go straight to the countryside!!!
We would just never have this issue here (it never rains)! :) Good street scene, it's so busy. We don't have this either. Our streets are pretty empty at dark.
Hello everyone. Thank you so much for the comments! I'm starting to really like taking photos in the rain lately. Maybe because we're getting more of it...but it's definitely fun!
Great photo! Nice nightime lighting. Once we were up in a taller building in Shabuya eating lunch. It was raining and all we could see was an ocean of umbrellas crossing the street. I took a photo, but it didn't turn out very well.

ReplyDeleteIf I could I would stop the rain and bring some warming sunshine; but not much chance of that happening.
ReplyDeleteRihanna, yes; but being an old fart I also think of the Hollies.
Great capture of all the umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder... rainy days and night. Don't put the camera away.
