This is my favorite public bathroom in Shinjuku. I love how there are so many green plants everywhere. There is also a sitting room and a changing room for babies in connecting rooms.

At first glance I thought it was a swank hotel or (like Leif) spa lobby.
ReplyDeleteBut even as ritzy as this is there are those who might be embarrassed if someone should hear them going about their business. Thank goodness there is the appropriate app. If I don’t have my iPhone with me I just do this sitting down.
I like the framing in the top photo and the (semi) bilateral symmetry in the bottom one.
This jewel wouldn't survive a hour here... This bathroom is almost incredible: a wonderful example of areal different approach to something public!

I remember all the style, and so nice and clean it was ALL THE PLACES we visited. I think Japan is the cleanest country I have ever been too.
