Is it just me or do vines make anything and everything romantic?
This was just a locked gate on the side of the road. You can see the lock isn't even fancy or anything. It's just a regular lock. But I really liked how the vines are intertwined here.
I love vines, and they're not something we see very much where I live because it's too dry. I like how you see a photo like this when most people would never notice it!
haha, i have a thing for vines too.
ReplyDeletei like how they're all entwined.
lovely capture Kaori. ^0^
I have ivy too Kaori and I love it, yes it certainly gives this gate a bit of charm!!
ReplyDeleteVines have magical quality, I agree. Most people love photos of vine-covered cottages. or chimneys, or in this case a locked fence.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just you. I definitely think they make what would be a boring fence look better. I think this shot would also look nice in black and white.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, there is something, and I don't really know what...
ReplyDeleteBut I like it very much!
The vine is reddening here!

ReplyDeletelovely detail :)
ReplyDeletewonderful !
ReplyDeleteVonderful vines!
ReplyDeleteThat padlock is obviously a romantic portent of another padlock in your near future.
ReplyDeleteThis could be the soundtrack for you and your newfound (or long-held) partner as you dance together for always. I am so jealous (ha ha).
Vines are nice. So alive, so free :)
ReplyDeleteSomehow vines automatically = vineyard in my mind. Romantic roots?
ReplyDeleteOf course, this is what is waiting in that guy’s apartment in the Italian movie-clip link I left above.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot! Perhaps it's the padlock that makes the vines romantic.
ReplyDeleteVines make anything and everything romantic, :-) Delightful photo, Kaori.
