I was so excited when I found this ginkgo tree in all its golden glory the other day!
Spending most of the day in the office and getting off of work when it's pitch black outside, there really isn't much time to enjoy these lovely fall colors. But I have a whole hour of lunch break and when it's a sunny day like this, I can't help but walk around and take pictures!
Crossing my fingers for more days like this. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Enjoy looking at more beautiful skies all around the world here.
Lovely! I like your angel!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Friday!
Ah, Norway. I wish I was as fluent in a foreign language as HansHB is in English. But if he enjoys learning as much as my Dutch grandfather he might be interested to know:
ReplyDeleteAngel (engel)
vs.
Angle (vinkel).
Me too. I think the composition of your photo is great. And I do miss those ginkgo trees. Thanks for sharing. You will think I am a total nut case (if you don’t already) but I used to munch on ginkgo leaves sometimes when they were green because ginkgo biloba is supposed to be some kind of brain food. I wonder...
It's beautiful! And you got the perfect angle. :)
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for this! We'll have gorgeous sunshine this weekend, so more photos, please! (^_^)
ReplyDeletePriceless beauty.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful weekend for you.
I love ginkgo trees! All of ours have peaked so it is nice to see that there are others that aren't naked yet. Their vibrant yellow leaves are so cheery!
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Kaori - not only of the colors of the tree, but the neat geometry of the building because of the angle from which you took the photo.
ReplyDeleteGlorious dizziness!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat golds and the building adds so much here.
ReplyDeleteKaori,
ReplyDeleteOh, I can imagine how exciting to view such brilliant gold leaves is!! At last, the real autumn leave season came and stayed just for a short time. Beautiful photo with dynamic angle.
Best wishes,
keiko
You know, I could be completely wrong above. HansHB might have just been in a hurry when he tried to write: “Lovely! I like you, Angel.”
ReplyDeleteExcellent composition, Kaori!
ReplyDeletelovely shots, specially the tree., beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colors! No sign of winter yet in Tokyo?
ReplyDeleteThis works for me!! It makes my heart palpitate when I think that it was TWO full years ago I was there in Japan shooting my own stunning ginkgo trees against perfect blue skies. Aack!
ReplyDeleteGreat fall colors...
ReplyDeletePS. Your question about the watch towers made me realize that I'd not posted any yet! And they ARE interesting. Will do it in the next few weeks. :-)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. The days are getting shorter and it's getting colder. Brr!
