Happy Feet

Sometimes my feet simply crave the grass, which is something we have very little of here in the city.

But Shinjuku if blessed with Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, a gorgeous park in the middle of the city, and I always head here when I have an afternoon off to be lazy. Hope you all enjoy a wonderfully lazy afternoon this weekend! Happy friday!

Enjoy looking at more beautiful skies all around the world here.
(In memory of Klaus Peter)

  1. The meeting place of grass and sky is the perfect place to be!

    Sky so high,
    Sky so blue,
    Tell me why
    I love you.

    Sunsets here and here

  2. Beautiful sky! I know what you mean about the grass.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)

  3. and happy weekend to you as well Kaori. ^0^
i do love the smell of the grass...

  4. Looks like a great place to lie on the grass and read a book Kaori, enjoy!

  5. Is it weekend already! Where has the week gone... I love grassy areas, especially one that looks as green and as inviting. I love to just sit and draw, read and look at people...

    Happy Weekend Kaori.

  6. Oh, more pictures of the park, please.

  7. You are so lucky to have a beautiful park like this in the middle of the city. Please post more pictures of this green paradise.

  8. Oh boy, what a lawn!!!! And the park looks huge!

  9. Wonderful velvet grass shot! Feels so good on the bare feet.

  10. I love grass too. We have lots of open space around here, but large expanses of grass aren't common because it's too dry. Nice photo!

  11. Ha! Happy Feet?
    The grass is too green.
Must be icy white to do a proper Happy Feet, just like the film. :)

  12. wonderful wonderful wonderful

please have a weekend just alike.

  13. I get the picture (not to mention the soundtrack).

Aah. Strumming those cool, tickling blades of grass with bare feet creates a real foot-tapping summer sole music.

  14. You're right, my feet do the same too! :) And this looks like the perfect spot.

  15. Simply beautifully captured shot...lovely!

  16. What a beautiful carpet... run, don't stop!

  17. Wonderful you have this park with green grass close to you, Kaori... and I like walking bare-feet on soft grass too... but... aren't there "keep off the grass" signs? I'm often disappointed to see those signs. Like a "don't touch" by a sculpture that is begging to be touched...

[When you have a moment... can you come identify the food on my post? I can't wait to see how far off I am with my wild guess. :-D ]

Thank you so much! Love it when you comment! xx
