Wrapped In Vines

Is it just me or do vines make anything and everything romantic?

This was just a locked gate on the side of the road. You can see the lock isn't even fancy or anything. It's just a regular lock. But I really liked how the vines are intertwined here.

  3. Vines have magical quality, I agree. Most people love photos of vine-covered cottages. or chimneys, or in this case a locked fence.

  4. It's not just you. I definitely think they make what would be a boring fence look better. I think this shot would also look nice in black and white.

  5. You are right, there is something, and I don't really know what...
But I like it very much!

  6. I love vines, and they're not something we see very much where I live because it's too dry. I like how you see a photo like this when most people would never notice it!

  7. That padlock is obviously a romantic portent of another padlock in your near future.

This could be the soundtrack for you and your newfound (or long-held) partner as you dance together for always. I am so jealous (ha ha).

  11. Lovely shot! Perhaps it's the padlock that makes the vines romantic.
