West Side Stories

This is a view of the skyscrapers on the west side of Shinjuku Station.

The building on the left is Hyatt Regency Tokyo and the one on right is the Tokyo Metropolis Government building. Shinjuku Chuo Park is right behind these buildings and it's a great spot to peek at the tall buildings through the trees.

It's finally Friday and I don't know about you but I'm ready to embrace the weekend. Hope you are all doing well this weekend, too!

Enjoy looking at more beautiful skies all around the world here.

  6. Great title!

I like that you got Cocoon Tower in the frame also.

Have you tried the zip-line? It is near the south-east corner of the park just off Kôshû Kaidô.

  9. Hi Kaori, just catching up on the posts that I've missed in the last few days. I see lots of very yummy looking food, and yes I do have chopsticks at home! Love the angle on Ready Set Go, and the perspective on this shot is great with the tall buildings rising up into the sky. Thanks for your good wishes over the last few days, all ok now!!

  10. The sky is gorgeous! What is that building in the middle of the other buildings? It looks like a metal ghost saying "Ohhhh!"

Rachel -- I LOVE how you described that building! It's actually called the Cocoon and it's a building for a designing school ;D

  12. The skyscrapers seem to soar right into the clouds!

    ODD STUFF

Through the dazzling bright blue sky
    Pigeons swim and goldfish fly.
If you think that this is strange,
You should see the mountains range!
