The sky was almost purple.
I love summer because I get off of work before sunset. As the days start getting shorter in the fall, by the time I get off work, it's already pitch black outside. I'll miss heading home under a pretty sky like this.
Happy weekend everyone!

ReplyDeleteJust thinking about the cold nights coming makes me shiver.
Shades in the purplish realm are some of my favorites so it’s nice to see this two-day trend.
It looks like you were standing right at the entrance to Narukotenjin Shrine when you took this shot. Have you checked out their Fujizuka? It looks a bit easier to surmount than its somewhat larger namesake that you conquered this past (sigh—past) summer.
I also miss the late twilight of summer, but ... autumn has gorgeous clear cobalt-blue daytime skies. Perfect for photos, でしょう? I'm already looking forward to your autumn trees photos. :)

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful sky! Love the color and I agree with you about the days getting shorter. I hate coming home from work in the dark.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely sky, but the buildings catch my eye just as much. Enjoy the nice weather while you can, we're supposed to get our first snow tonight.
