Dramatic Skies


Very happy it's Friday...and we had pretty skies, too!

Blue skies are nice but I like seeing blue skies with wispy clouds like this even more. Makes the sky more dramatic. What do you think?

    I can't agree more with you: in my opinion cloudless sky are beautiful but soulless. A 'living' sky must have clouds...

    There's no question - clouds like this make for a much better photo than straight blue skies. I actually find it a challenge to get an interesting landscape shot with nothing but blue skies. That's why I love summer here, with the afternoon storms and clouds, as opposed to winter which tends to be nothing but blue, or occasional grey. Anyway, great shot!
