Okay, it's way past cherry blossom season but I wanted to post one last photo. Hope you don't mind. The rainy season is starting and I haven't been able to take very many photos lately.
This was one of the prettiest cherry trees that was blooming in the park when I took this photo. But I thought it was funny how the kids were much more interested in playing with the dirt!
that's way cool of you doing a macro effect, so creamy. gotta learn that kind of trick. love the shot kaori and i don;t mind the sakura, as they're just always so pretty. ^0^
Kaori, I have never been tired of Sakura! On the contrary I want to talk about Sakura all day long. These Sakura flowers are pretty and pure. Boke is so effective that it makes Sakura very impressive. Great shot! Thank you, Kaori, have a nice day!
Ah, they are but a little five-petalled flower bud of youth themselves, just beginning to open up.
What do they say? “Youth is wasted on the young.” Such beauty too.
I don’t know why, but the colors of your photo make it look like a warm whisper...almost summery in color, and with your title, delicately poignant. Perhaps because this scene, too, is long gone: the now sere cherry petals fallen and scattered on the vacant ground, some right where the children’s gazes once lay, trodden by the passing oblivious, if any. It’s so nice to have this photo.
Beautiful - I'll never tire of cherry blossom photos. Our stormy season is just starting, which means usually sunny days with afternoon thunderstorms. Although for tonight they're calling for snow and thunder, with possibly more of the same tomorrow!
