@arabesque: If you don’t mind me stepping in to answer your question, Robert Indiana’s Shinjuku-version of his LOVE sculpture has been there since 1993. It is in front of I-Land Tower. Here is a map with some extra detail if you click on “C.”.

@Arabesque, like TallGary said, yes it's been here for awhile. The building behind the sculpture, Shinjuku i-Land has a lot of artsy sculptures in it's vicinity and I'm sure this LOVE will be here for a long time. You'll have to come visit this sculpture AND ME next time you're in Shinjuku ;D

There is probably no hurry if you want to see it “in person.” This love just may be yours forever.
