Yes, it certainly does.At first I thought of my local library. Then I thought of Gaudi. Such as here.
That's brilliant. The first shot looks like Spain or Portugal!
they're pretty, reminds me a bit of Macau actually, the architect of this bldg, is definitely creative. ^0^
That is extraordinary - it certainly stands out in a big way.
Surprised!! The second building looks like art school or something. Or the owner is an artist? People look at this building once , they will never forget it. Anyway this is a good landmark. Thank you for sharing very interesting photos. Kaori, have a nice day.
Wow, I love this building! I've missed your blog. It's great to catch up. So many beautiful shots here.
Really interesting building- Islamic art or central Asian rather than Japanese in style?Chrissy
What fun! I love it.
I have seen strange buildings, but anything like this!
The building is just amazing! The combination of tiles is very cool, it seems to be something in between the portuguese tile work and Gaudi's work. :-)
My first thought was Gheary!
What a joy for the sense of sight, a bit of mathematics as well, wonderful !Please have a good new week.daily athens
Interesting building. I wonder what the inside is like.
Wow, that is interesting! Nice tile work too.
yes funny building , the colours made me think of spain :)
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for leaving a comment! Sorry I haven't been able to comment back often. I think I agree with you all...a mix between Islamic and Spain/Protugues! I may have to go by and ask how this building came about sometime!Snowwhite, Evelyn, Masae -- I'm not sure about the first floor but it seems that the floors above are all apartment units! Isn't that wild? :DChrissy -- that's what I thought, too! It's definitely not something we see everyday in Japan, very rare ;DLaurie -- thanks so much! :D
Yeah, that it not the kind of building that I would expect to see in Japan. But I love it! It is so eclectic and fun.
Thank you so much! Love it when you comment! xx
